It’s a new semester and time to return to the best part of college: Coed nudity.

In our first article, cleverly titled “Amateur College Girls Flash Their School Spirit” we mentioned a number of college-based amateur nude Tumblrs. We expand this time to also include erotic magazines edited and published by the students of the some of top schools in the nation. Our observations show that the true measure of a top university isn’t it’s US News and World Report ranking, average GPA or graduation rate, but the quality of its coed nudity publications.

1. H BOMB (Harvard)

H Bomb describes itself as “Harvard College’s premier arts and literary magazine dedicated to exploring issues related to gender, sex, and sexuality.” Like Playboy magazine, it goes beyond mere nudes and mixes in art, fiction and poetry. Come for some high-minded, high culture take on nudity. We recommend the Playboy Project (NSFW).

2. BOINK: (Boston University)

(ARCHIVE ONLY)

Harvard isn’t the only Boston-area college with its own nude magazine. Less artsy and more graphic, Boink was Boston University’s more low-brow answer to H Bomb’s pretensions. It’s since become defunct, but it is surely fondly remembered as that wild magazine that challenged the campus culture and partied like a motherfucker.

3. VITEAU EXOLATUR (University of Chicago)

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
STUDENT BODY: 15544

The University of Chicago is more known for their economics than their student body. In fact, it’s been known as the place “where fun goes to die.”  But Vita Excolatur proves there is more than geeky old men doing bean counting. Borrowing its name from the school’s motto, which means “Life Enriched,” it has been controversial. It was shut down by the University in 2006 and revived in 2010 with restrictions. Hopefully more barriers and restrictions on it continue to fall.

4. SMITH TITTIES (Smith College)

NORTHAMPTON, MASSACHUSETTS
STUDENT BODY: 2,766
NSFW WEB

Smith College is a private liberal arts school for women set in the small city of Northampton. The area is a liberal enclave with a large LGBT population, allowing for more open discussion of sexuality. The Smith Titties blog fits in that realm, promoting itself as a safe place for women to show off their bodies of all shapes and sizes.

5. BOOB OF UCF (University of Central Florida)

ORLANDO, FLORIDA
STUDENT BODY: 59,767
NSFW WEB

The University of Central Florida is the second largest university in the country, compriing almost 60,000 students in Orlando, Florida. Living in the state most of us go to for Spring Break, the year-round warm weather keeps that party going (as evidenced by being ranked the no. 9 party school on Playboy’s 2011 list)

The blog encourages all students, male and female of any size, to post themselves for all to enjoy.

6. SQUIRM (Vassar College)

STUDENT BODY: 2,400

(Defunct, Print Issues still happening)

We covered Vassar College’s VC Student Bodies in our last installment. But that Tumblr isn’t the college’s first foray into naked student bodies. Squirm Magazine was started in 1999 as a way to add sexual conversation after the cancellation of the “Homo Hop”, an annual party of debauchery.

In a 2011 interview, the Editor in Chief said she was pushing to revive the magazine, which had flagging interest on campus, and to push it into more sophisticated areas beyond just a selection of sex stories and images.

7. THE MODERATOR (Bard College)

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NEW YORK
STUDENT BODY: 1,900
NSFW WEB

Another find from another school we’ve covered before. We mentioned the Boobs @ Bard blog in our last article. According to Jezebell, Boobs @ Bard was created because the founder thought The Moderator was too political and the models looked uncomfortable.

The Moderator is a more political look at body issues and nudity. It includes original pictures, critiques of sex in advertisements and pop culture and presents a mix of body and gender types found on other blogs. If you want to mix some radical thought with your nudity, check it out. If it’s not your thing, well, you’ll have Boobs@Bard.

If we missed your school, if you know of a past publication, or have started your own publication, let us know! We may feature it in an upcoming article.
